Event description

Cyanotype Printmaking Workshop - This workshop will introduce participants to the art of cyanotype printing (a photographic printing process using the sun that produces a cyan-blue (often referred to as blueprint) image on paper or fabric) teaching them how to create their own cyanotype prints.

Under instruction from artist Ann Whitby participants will also learn about the pioneering work of Anna Atkins, the first person to publish a book with photographs using the cyanotype process.

For beginners and those interested in photography, printmaking, or alternative processes.

Suitable for adults only.

Please note safety equipment will be worn during this session and due to the need for some sun, the session may need to be rescheduled or adjusted if significant rain is forecast.
