Guest Speaker: Stephen Sverchek – Men in Mind for Primary Care
The Tasmanian Suicide Prevention Community Network (TSPCN) is pleased to welcome Stephen Sverchek, Project Lead for Men in Mind for Primary Care, as a guest speaker at our upcoming meeting.
Stephen will provide an overview of the Men in Mind for Primary Care program, which aims to equip primary care professionals with the knowledge and skills to better engage with men, recognise signs of psychological distress and provide effective support.
This presentation will explore the role of primary care in supporting men's mental health and wellbeing, and the importance of strengthening early intervention and suicide prevention efforts.
We look forward to hearing from Stephen and learning more about this valuable initiative.
