Tech Savvy Seniors - Smartphones for Beginners
Description
Our Tech Savvy Seniors workshop in October is the perfect introductory session for learning the basics of a touchscreen phone. Tech & Tea mentor, Steve, will provide step-by-step instructions on how to familiarise yourself with your phone, including navigating the home screen and adjusting the default settings to suit your needs. Participants will also learn basic features such as making calls, sending messages, and taking and sharing photos.
TICKETS WILL OPEN FOR BOOKING AT 9AM ON TUESDAY 15 SEPTEMBER.
ABOUT TECH SAVVY SENIORS
Tech Savvy Seniors is a partnership between the NSW Government and Telstra, providing free technology training to seniors through libraries. The program aims to help seniors with little or no digital experience to develop skills and confidence in using technology for socialising, accessing services, and conducting personal business. These hands-on training workshops include courses on using computers, smartphones, tablets, the internet, email, and social media.
