A moving meditation style with a focus on pranic flows and chakra balancing. The following props are provided for you - Mats, Bolsters, blocks, cushions, sandbags, eyepillows and blankets.

About the Class

Enjoy a slower pace with your yoga with a moving meditation sequence, restorative yoga poses using bolsters and props and singing bowls to take your awareness to ever deepening levels. The poses and singing bowls combinations are also perfectly designed to balance your individual chakra or energetic system. Begin the class with a journey to the subtle realms using a sound-based meditation. Increase the subtle energetic flow around the body through a moving meditation that focuses on all of the joints of the body. Develop Chakra awareness while practicing Salute to the Sun accompanied by singing bowls. Witness the subtle flow of vibrational energy while in Restorative Yoga Poses & singing bowls, a gong and other sound healing tools are played close to the body.

This is a course with an educational component. Each term we'll explore one particular chakra in depth while balancing each of the chakras at multiple levels. By the end of this of term, you'll have a clear understanding of how the 7 main chakras influence us at the physical, mental, emotional and psychological level and have deep and abiding understanding of the focus chakra for the term.

We have a huge selection of singing bowls and sound instruments that take your yoga to a whole other level. We also provide ALL props including mats, blankets, cushions, eye pillows, blocks, straps, mattresses, meditation stools and MORE. We also provide a retreat style location. Our studio is nestled amongst permaculture & native gardens with mountain views. And last but not least - we provide EXPERIENCED, QUALITY teaching that takes you to an understanding of yoga that is way beyond asana. We also take an interest in you and YOUR yoga journey. We take the time to get to know our students and support them on their evolutionary journey through yoga. This is something that you can't get from gym yoga or global online yoga. Our students value setting, quality teaching, and have a pro-active approach to self- development.
