Teen Sewing With Steffie
This class is for ages 12-18 to learn the basics of sewing and beyond. The first week will be focused on machine sewing basics with the following 7 classes focused on creating sewn items based on patterns that increase in complexity.
Participants will learn how to read a commercial pattern and by the end of the 8 sessions, they will know how to put together a garment from start to finish.Â
There is a max of 6 students so participants will get a small class experience.
Tools are provided, but materials will need to be purchased. A list will be sent out prior to the first session.

Steffie Notion
Steffie Notion is a textile artist and seamstress based in Longmont, CO. She learned to sew from her mom and now has over 20 years of experience specializing in practical alterations and mending. Her work emphasizes sustainability, focusing on the importance of repurposing and repairing old clothes to reduce waste. She actively shares her expertise through workshops and classes, encouraging others to embrace creativity and resourcefulness in their own sewing journeys.Â
