Tullawallal (9.00am - 12.00pm)
5km / 2.5-3 hour walk (grade 3)
Enjoy the biodiversity of warm sub-tropical and cool temperate forests as we meander through one of the best hikes showcasing the density and diversity of Lamington's rainforest. The circuit features towering strangler figs, spectacular epiphytes adorning tree trunks, and the beauty of dappled sunlight filtered through the canopy. The circuit spirals through the heart of the rainforest to reach the summit, which features Australia's northernmost pocket of Antarctic beech trees - an ancient species dating back to the age of Gondwana.
This track is known for its' diverse bird-life and we'll be keeping an eye out for the Albert's Lyrebird, Paradise Riflebird, Bassian Thrush, and many more.
