Tulong Sigla

Our story with Bantu began back in 2022 with Capoeira at Wikang Madla, where we learned Filipino through movement, music, and martial arts. Since then, they’ve been the heart of our Tulong Liga partnership.

Now, they’re here in Sydney to bring that energy back to us.

This isn’t your typical Tuesday afternoon. In coordination with NARRA, the Filipino Student Council of New South Wales is bringing a Capoeira workshop that will get you moving, stories from Bantu about strength and community, and a panel with Tulong Liga players opening up about resilience both on and off the court.

So bring your energy, curiosity, and maybe even a friend who’s been promising to “try something new.” This is your chance to learn, move, and connect in a space powered by resilience and culture.

Tickets for this event are $15 per person. And yes, part of every purchase supports Bantu’s programs in the Philippines, with an option to donate directly if you’d like to do more!
