Are you interested in learning about the history of Ōtautahi Christchurch? Come and join our Local History librarians as we explore topics like our Māori heritage, European immigration and settlement, the people, places and events that make our city unique.
We will explore some of the gems in our collection, including our archives, maps, information on our website, thousands of images, digitised diaries, book recommendations and more. This is a great way to add some context to your family history research, or just to delve deeper into the area you live, work or play.
Please note: This course uses online resources, so basic computer skills are required.
