In support of TOIORA exhibition - exploring the interconnection of Māori Weaving and wellbeing in Te Pito Huarewa | South Base Gallery, we are delighted to offer a series of workshops for rangatahi / youth and pakeke / adult customers.
He Mea Whakaniko - Māori Contemporary Jewellery are three-hour workshops looking repurposing and reusing left over weaving resources to make contemporary Māori Jewellery.
Special Information:
We discourage parents from bringing younger children, as they won't be able to take part in the activities. If younger children do attend, parents must ensure they have something to keep them occupied, as they will not be able to join in.
