In early 1881 the Wheeler and Son photographic studio took a series of photographs of Christchurch from the top of the Anglican Christchurch Cathedral. The photographs were then published in an accordion-style fold out album which when opened showed Christchurch in a superbly detailed panorama.

Join Local History Librarian Glenn Coster for his talk about E Wheeler & Son’s 1881 panorama photographs of Christchurch.
