After working as a barrister in Hong Kong for over 30 years Peter Graham returned to New Zealand and has since published two books. The first, Vile Crimes, is about the notorious Timaru poisoning case of 1886. His second, So Brilliantly Clever, looks at The Parker -Hulme murder of 1954. Peter is currently working on a study of the life and times of the great Ngāi Tahu chief Te Mātanga Taiaroa.
