Open Archives: Spinster, Married, Widow

Spend an hour with library archivists digging into some of the archives behind Tūranga's 'Spinster, Married, Widow' exhibition. Explore the lives of local Cantabrian women through photos, diaries, and other traces they left behind. The archivists will also share stories about their favourite women they have found in our library's collection.

Special information: This experience involves delicate historic materials and is best suited for teens and adults. Please note that this session takes place in the Research Room on Tuakiri Level 2 of Tūranga where no bags, food or drink are permitted. There are free lockers available.
