Turning a Dream Video Game into Reality: Learning from Lucidity Loveworks
Description
Sophia and Ailin are award-winning video game developers based in Sydney, with Sophia creating Lucidity Loveworks to make their own game. Check out their Instagram here: https://www.instagram.com/oraculusgame/
Their goal with Sophia’s studio is to make unique and engaging experiences through video games. They have contributed to award-winning games including, ‘LEGO Party’ and ‘Crab God’. The studio’s current project is ‘ORACULUS’, Sophia’s dream game: a musical-focused visual novel, with all of the art being traditionally drawn.
In this industry talk, join them for an interactive experience where you'll learn their experiences in getting into the video game industry, the skills and knowledge they used, and how it allowed them to build Sophia’s vision of their dream game as a team.
This session is designed for anyone who is in the games industry or aspiring to be, no technical experience required! Everyone is invited, including all UTS students, industry professionals, or those interested in video game development.
