Event description

Whether you’re just starting out on your climate journey, or chipping in regularly, dealing with climate change can be hard and overwhelming, and it can be difficult to know where to start. Join us for an evening kōrero on how you can turn your climate anxiety into climate action! You’ll be hearing from speakers who have found their own ways into climate action.  They’ll be sharing personal stories about why they do what they do and how they use their own climate anxiety to fuel their actions.

There will be a panel discussion, interactive stations, kai, inu, meditation and time to meet and mingle with other guests, the organisers and of course the speakers. You will come away inspired and empowered to turn climate-anxiety into climate-action, with practical ways that you can chip in towards solutions to climate crisis. We’re looking forward to seeing you there!

Hear from speakers:
Alec Tang - Sustainability at KPMG & Lecturer at AUT

Dr Jackie Feather - Clinical Psychologist & eco-anxiety/climate grief expert

Quack Pirihi - Mana Āniwaniwa & takatāpui activist

Chlöe Swarbrick - Green Party MP for Auckland Central
And Sound bath facilitator, Brian Berneman - Founder of Conscious Action

Hosted by Climate Club NZ in collaboration with Foodprint and MUV Talks, part of the Auckland Climate Festival
