    Event description

Brought to you by Foundation North!

This workshop is for tweens and teens (ages 10-17)

Make a Stool and Free Design.

In this workshop, tweens and teens will learn to use a drill in detail and build their own stool. They will also sketch build their own free design and paint it.

This is a great opportunity for kids to experiment and think outside the box as they work with the different shapes and sizes of wood and different materials provided. They will learn safe tool use and get the skills to design and create with wood.

Rangatahi will give a second life to materials that may have otherwise ended up in the landfill. They will learn about the importance of sustainability and the role they can play in reducing waste.

This activity will not only be an opportunity for tweens and teens to have fun, but it will also help instil important values and skills that they can carry with them into their daily lives.
