The Science Collective is delighted to be presenting our first ever science event in Mildura in the wonderfully refurbished Powerhouse Hall on Hugh King Drive on Wednesday 18th October 2023 from 4.30pm-7.00pm.
There will be four fabulous science shows by some of Australia's top science communicators, keen to engage with young families. The event is particularly directed at primary school aged children and their families but all are welcome.
There will be a Liquid Nitrogen Show by Peter from Fizzics Education; a Wildlife Show by staff from the local EnviroEDU; a musical romp by Australia's only singing palaeontologist, the remarkable Prof Flint; and then a spectacular finale by SciFiBri and his Fire & Froth Show.
Hungry? No problems. The on-site cafe will be open all for coffee, drinks and snacks and there will be a 30 minute break in the performance from 5.30pm-6.00pm.
We know that with costs rising in many areas family events need to be affordable. So a family ticket is available for just $24 (2 + 2 or 1 + 3) and all adults are at the children's price of just $8.
There is limited capacity within the venue, so don't delay in booking your tickets now at www.thesciencecollective.com
