Description
Brewvet is a self-guided cycling brewery crawl through Northeast Minneapolis, stopping at some of the area's best taprooms before wrapping up at Forgotten Star Brewing in Fridley for a party at the finish line.
Riders will check in at each taproom using a web-based app - no paper cards, no strict route order, just you, your bike, and miles and miles of great beer. Kind of like an alley-cat, kind of like a lazy Sunday ride. Every check-in earns raffle tickets toward a $1,000+ prize pool donated by all 10 participating breweries. Did we mention you can check in multiple times at the same brewery this year? Because now you can.
Think you've got the legs for all 10? Complete three full circuits and earn Audax Finisher status - a permanent spot on the wall at Forgotten Star with some bonus prizes at the finish line party.
Bike your way around NE from Forgotten Star to 56 Brewing, Broken Clock Brewing Cooperative, Dangerous Man Brewing, Fulton Brewing, Falling Knife, Indeed Brewing, Padraigs, Preyes Brewing and Sociable Ciderwerks; roughly 90 minutes of riding if you keep moving, but there's no clock and no pressure.
The finish line at Forgotten Star includes a complimentary hot dog and beer for all returning riders, a live raffle draw, and the Audax Finisher ceremony for anyone who completed the full triple circuit.
Registration is includes a Brewvet-branded bandana and entry into the raffle. Group start at Forgotten Star Brewing at 12pm; All taproom check-in windows close at 6:00pm. Make sure to be back at Forgotten Star by 6:30pm for raffles and prizes.

FAQs
- Do I have to follow the route in order?
Not really!
You'll need to be at Forgotten Star to check-in and get your bandana, and there will be a group roll out at 12pm. Between then and 6:30pm, the day is yours to ride to as many or few taprooms as you'd like.
- What time does the event start and end?
Check in is between 11am-12pm on Aug 9th at Forgotten Star.
You'll need to check back in at Forgotten Star by 6:30pm. Raffle will happen shortly after. Riders must be present to win. Expect the whole thing to be done by 7:30pm
- What do I get when I register?
Each registered rider gets a swaggy event bandana to show off on event day, and a free beer and hot dog at Forgotten Star when they finish the ride. Not to mention all of the clout for participating.
- How does the check-in app work?
Each rider will have an account on the app. There will be a QR check in at each taproom that works with the app to track check-ins for the day. No more soggy rider cards!
- Do I need to download anything?
Nope! It's a web app so you can use it in your phone's browser
- How do raffle tickets work?
Riders get 1x raffle ticket for every taproom they stop at on event day.
If/when a rider hits all participating taprooms, that is considered one full circuit, and there is bonus 5x raffle tickets awarded. Riders can complete the circuit three times for a combined bonus max of 15 raffle tickets (eg each circuit is worth 5x tickets.)
All raffle tickets go into a pool for the prize drawings. The more tickets you collect, the better your chances to win.
- What is a Full Circuit?
A full circuit is when you check in at each participating taproom once.
- What is Audax Finisher status and how do I qualify?
An Audax Finisher is a rider who completes three full circuits on event day.
For their efforts, they will be commemorated with a plaque displayed at Forgotten Star, bonus raffle tickets for completing the circuit three times (15 tickets), and a special Audax Finisher prize pool from Forgotten Star.
- Do I have to visit every brewery?
Nope!
Riders can choose their own adventure, however you do need to visit each one to complete a circuit.
- Do I need to be present to win a raffle prize?
Yes! You need to be present during the raffle to win.
All riders must return and check into Forgotten Star no later than 6:30pm. We'll do our best to get everything calculated/winners announced promptly!
- What happens if it rains?
This is a rain or shine event! Dress for the weather!
