TWIST–SIIF Immersion Gathering: Japan 2027
Description
Can a community of people who trust each other enough to think (and act!) differently together be the most powerful force for positive systems transformation?
In February 2027, TWIST invites its members to Japan for an immersive gathering, co-hosted with the SIIF Social Innovation and Investment Foundation. It is designed to build the capacity to listen, sense, and act at the intersection of human and natural systems.
We'll explore Satoyama, the Japanese tradition of integrating human and ecological systems, and take a closer look at a real-world investing-for-systems-change case led by SIIF and A0 Group. Along the way, interactions among participants, TWIST/SIIF staff, and local members will offer a home base for reflection and sensing.

We will start in the evening with a welcoming kick-off dinner, a gentle, soft landing after the long travel. Hosted in a warm, family setting, it's a chance to unwind, start connecting with fellow participants, and get a first taste of Japanese culture, food, and music.
