Twisted 𝓛𝓲𝓿𝓮 - Factions, Oaf & brm
Description
We've got a shotgun spread of local hardcore, post-punk and experimental ambience.
Oaf is a three-piece band from Nipaluna/Hobart formed in 2024. Combining elements of hardcore, noise rock, and skramz, Oaf’s sound is a raw and abrasive cacophony. After releasing Teething in 2025, the band is focused on new material and refining their live performances to more effectively clear rooms. Bring hearing protection!
brm is the solo project of Raspberry Terrapin guitarist Blake Reid-Morris. Through this project she plays around with ambient textures using tape loops, drones, and minimalist melodies. Alongside the drawn-out ambient experimentations, brm writes and records her own low-fi folk that touches on nature, intimacy and trauma, set to intricate finger-style guitar.
Factions are an instrumental noise/experimental rock duo that formed in a Sandy Baysement in 2024, the year of the house show.
