This is a FREE Event and is currently sold out.

This event forms part of the Twitchers Trail Stage 2, supported by the Eyre Peninsula Landscape Board’s Grassroot Grants program, made possible by the regional landscape levy.

About the Event
Join us for a relaxed day exploring the birds and habitats of the Lipson and Ungarra as part of the Twitchers Trail Stage 2 project. Suitable for beginners and experienced birdwatchers alike, the day will provide opportunities to learn bird identification skills, discover local habitats and connect with fellow nature enthusiasts.

Guided by Tim from Australian Coastal Safaris, participants will visit a range of birdwatching locations while learning about the diverse birdlife found throughout the region. The event forms part of the broader Twitchers Trail extension project, which aims to strengthen community awareness of local biodiversity and encourage appreciation of the habitats that support native bird species, with further community bird mosaics planned for 2027.
