Two Centuries of Chinese Heritage in the City of Vincent

The “Two Centuries of Chinese Heritage in Western Australia” collection ambitiously seeks to collect, document, and showcase the remarkable contributions of the Chinese community to Western Australia from the state’s founding to the present day.

Hear Associate Professor Yu Tao and Professor Benjamin Smith introduce the project and its Digital Portal, as well as share stories of the invaluable historical and cultural contributions Chinese people have made to the Vincent area over the past two centuries.

Make sure you bring your phone so you can use the Digital Portal to help identify people who lived in what is now the City of Vincent and make your contribution to this exciting project.
