Two.Five Live
Born in 2024, the Two.Five competition is a radical experiment in cinematic restraint. Over 200 applicants were narrowed down to a cohort of 20, each tasked with the challenge to create a short film using a single Super 8 cartridge. This meant only 2.5 minutes of footage with absolutely zero post-production manipulation. After a celebrated premiere at Cairo’s Zawya Cinema, we’re bringing a curated selection of 17 standout works (spanning the landscapes of the Nile Delta, Aswan, and Sinai) to the UK for a rare big-screen showcase.
To honor the unfiltered spirit of these films, we're bringing a multi-disciplinary line-up of SWANA artists whose work mirrors this commitment to heritage and experimentation. The evening begins with the cassette grooves of Sha3by Chic, whose collection of global tapes sets an analog tone for the night. This opening set paves the way for the 45-minute film showcase, leading into a relaxed discussion with Two.Five alumni, including our very own Andrew Awad.
The evening continues through a curated musical programme that bridges SWANA heritage with the UK underground. We’re joined by Intibint, whose multidisciplinary practice weaves Yemeni field recordings and revolutionary Arabic songs into a contemporary alt-R&B tapestry rooted in resistance. She is joined by the electrifying presence of Fedzilla, an MC and rapper who will perform a stripped-down, intimate set weaving together poetry, spoken word, humour, and hip-hop. The night rounds off with a celebratory B2B set by Disco Monde and Koshari FM.
This special programme was a collaborative effort brought together by Egyptian producer and multidisciplinary artist Andrew Awad, London-based cultural programmer Ishy Pryce-Parchment, with support from the Two.Five Team.

Sha3by Chic
Sha3by Chic pays tribute to party music across time and space with his bass-heavy and urgent sound, which spans from amapiano to mahraganat and tallava to drill, and much more in between. He is also an avid collector of popular and traditional music on cassette from across the world.
Intibint
Intibint is the moniker of UK-based Yemeni producer, singer-songwriter, visual artist, and DJ Noha. Born in London and raised between the UK and Yemen, her work as a musician explores themes that straddle both the personal and the collective, creating songs that are as emotional and political as they are relatable. Her music is primarily electronic but moves beyond genre boundaries, weaving through downtempo, alt-R&B, and hip-hop while remaining inspired by Yemeni sounds. Her live performances infuse layered vocals, field recordings, original production, and covers of traditional and revolutionary Arabic songs from Yemen, Palestine, and Sudan.
Fedzilla
Carving out an exceptionally infectious sound, Fedzilla is a riveting MC and rapper. From festival stages to sound systems and street carnivals, her shows speak directly to the audience, immersing passionate stories and humorous commentary into bass-heavy beats made for the dancefloor. With piercing raps in English and Spanish, she flows charismatically between dancehall, reggaeton, hip hop and electronica. Performing for over a decade, Fedzilla has grown her solo career alongside working with bands such as WARA, 47SOUL and Sam and the Womp, and opened for international artists such as Grammy-nominated Ana Tijoux, Ms Nina, Rebeca Lane, Shadia Mansour, MC Xander and Poirier. With numerous international collaborations under her belt, she’s performed internationally across countries like Brazil, Palestine, UK and Germany. In 2023 she released her debut EP ‘Junction’ arranged and produced by the musical powerhouse Eliane Correa, co-produced by French/Haitian producer Kensaye and mixed by producer Jeremiah Jones (Damian Marley, Yendry, Stefflon Don).
Disco Monde
ZOÉ (Disco Monde) is a DJ who can connect people from every part of the world to the dance floor. With a dynamic collection of dance music deeply rooted in Afro-Cuban House, Salsa, Reggaeton, and rhythms from the SWANA region, her journey into DJing was fueled by a passion for blending Latin and Arabic music, creating a unique and engaging soundscape.
