Based in the Canberra/Queanbeyan region, two4six is a three piece band playing mainly original songs and instrumentals across a variety of styles. Hard to pigeon hole but best described as smooth groove coupled with some reggae, interesting beats and more...

In the back streets of the Canberra industrial suburb of Fyshwick lies the eclectic Artists’ space known as The Artists Shed. First and foremost, the Artists Shed is the Margaret Hadfield Gallery where this well-renowned painter creates her compelling landscapes, portraits and historical artworks. A full exhibition of her commissioned and non-commissioned works are on display at all times. The works of a myriad of regional guest artists adorn the walls of smaller gallery spaces through the the gallery. The Shed often hosts substantial exhibitions of other prominent artists. The Artist Shed is also an art school providing instruction on artistic techniques in a variety of mediums. Students range from absolute beginners to highly talented, mentored artists. Professional Art teachers in Studio 1 include Margaret Hadfield, Dennis Mortimer and Julie-Anne Ure. Carole Griffiths, one of Canberras premier glass artists, also conducts creative workshops in glass jewellery-making in Studio 2. Not only does the venue host a plethora of visual arts activities it also runs a regular line-up of performing artists on Friday or Saturday nights. These fun evening events are small, intimate gatherings of people who enjoy a wine from the wine bar while listening to musical or comedy acts. The Artists Shed is an eclectic environment that fosters art in all its forms.
