Join us for an extremely special instalment of Two Bit Movie Club as we head to the cinemas to watch a movie that would maybe be a cult classic if it wasn’t so unpleasant to look at.
A wildly misguided attempt at recapturing the magic of ET, 1988’s Mac and Me tells the story of a burgeoning friendship between the new kid in town and a fucked up little alien creature that looks like ass. Theoretically full of wonderful life lessons and good examples, kids were unfortunately incapable of learning any of these lessons because the rubber alien suits are a crime against god and nature.
Come see Mac and Me on the big screen in Brisbane for almost certainly the first time in the 21st century, because no one else in their right mind would have done this.
We will also be selling our first ever Two Bit Movie Club T-shirt - this sonically cursed image! Designed by Freak Street Illustrations, it’ll be available to purchase on the night.
