Two Bit Movie Club - Plasmo
Event description
For a show consisting of only one series of 13 short episodes, the 1996 ABC children’s program Plasmo did an awfully good job at lodging itself into the subconscious of Australians of a certain age. Strange imagery, often haunting music, and themes that felt a just a little too heavy for the timeslot and target demographic gave the show an air of “Should I be watching this?” that was in no small part aided by having one of the main characters have a face that could generously be described as ‘somewhat vulva-esque’.
Join us as we celebrate this labour of love written, directed, co-produced and co-animated by Anthony Lawrence, and revel in the childhood memories you maybe tried to suppress.
It happens on Monday the 27th of June at 7pm. Each ticket comes with your first drink and can be grabbed via events.humanitix.com/twobitplasmo
**Note: The Hellmouth Diner is closed for our Monday closed door events, but you're more than welcome to BYO food or order in.
