Join Tye Chua Dance, home of Kalamazoo Ballet™, for our 2026 production of The Nutcracker - a magical celebration of dance, music, and the wonder of the holiday season.
Follow Clara as an extraordinary Christmas Eve carries her from a battle with the Mouse King into the sparkling Land of Sweets. Featuring the dancers of Tye Chua Dance alongside our advanced and company performers, this year’s production brings together beautiful classical choreography, dazzling costumes, and a cast of dancers from across our school - and all from the Kalamazoo community.

Saturday, December 5, 2026 at 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM, and Sunday, December 6, 2026 at 2:00 PM.
- Should I purchase tickets in advance?
Absolutely! Our previous Nutcracker performances sold out quickly. We strongly recommend purchasing tickets early, as availability may be limited closer to the performance dates.
- Is The Nutcracker appropriate for children?
Yes! The Nutcracker is a wonderful holiday experience for families, children, and audiences of all ages.
- Will tickets be available at the door?
Door sales will be offered only if tickets remain available. Advance purchase is strongly recommended.
- Is seating reserved?
All general admission seating is first come, first served. We recommend arriving early, especially for families and groups wishing to sit together.
Children under two may attend free of charge when seated on a parent or guardian's lap. A ticket is required for any child occupying their own seat.
- Where should I park?
The Judy K. Jolliffe Theatre is located inside the Epic Center in downtown Kalamazoo. Several public parking options are available nearby, including downtown parking garages and street parking. Please allow additional time for parking and walking to the theatre.
- Will flowers be available for purchase?
es! Flowers will be available for purchase in the theatre lobby before each performance, with proceeds benefiting Kalamazoo Ballet Company, the nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting dance education, performance opportunities, and access to classical ballet in our community.

- What time should I arrive?
We recommend arriving at least 20–30 minutes before the scheduled performance to allow time for parking, ticket check-in, and finding your seats. Lobby and auditorium opening times will be announced closer to the performance.
- Can I take photos or videos during the performance?
Flash photography and video recording during the performance are not permitted, as they can distract performers and other audience members. Photography before and after the performance is welcome in designated public areas.
