Tyler Cooney meets The Evan Trio

Tyler Cooney is a Brisbane based guitarist, composer, and educator. As well as leading and co-leading his own projects Monsterra, Headland, and as a solo artist, he performs as a sideman in a number of other diverse ensembles including Mosspaw, Kerbside Collection and Dezzie D And The Stingrayz. In 2022 he released his debut album of original compositions for guitar trio entitled ‘Modern Ideal’, and in 2023 he was a nominee in the Freedman Fellowship awards.
