UK Agtech Showcase I Orange 2026

Join us in Orange on the eve of Australian National Field Days for an evening with eight of the UK's most exciting agtech ventures, the 2026–27 F2F Land x Launch Australia UK AgTech Cohort.

Hosted by Farmers2Founders in partnership with Innovate UK, the showcase brings these founders face to face with the people who know Central West agriculture best: producers, agribusiness, researchers, and regional and industry leaders. Each venture will pitch in three minutes and then take questions from the floor. After that, we'll open up the room for conversation over local food and drinks.

These founders are in Australia to understand what our producers need, to test their technology on Australian farms, and to find the right place to build a local presence. Their work is designed to complement Australia's own agtech strengths and help Australian farmers access the best technology in the world. With its research base, diverse farming systems and strong agricultural community, Orange is an ideal place for those conversations to start.

Whether you farm, advise, research or help the region grow, you'll leave with new connections, fresh ideas and a first look at technologies that could be trialled on farms near you.

• Avena Fuels: modular, containerised infrastructure turning farm and processor waste into biomethane, energy, fertiliser and carbon value.

• Bionema Group: advanced formulation and delivery technologies that make biological crop protection more reliable in the field.

• Concert Bio: helping greenhouse growers understand and improve their plant microbiome for better crop performance.

• iLivestock: integrated software, connected weighing and RFID hardware for sheep and cattle producers.

• Lacuna Space: a satellite IoT network powering environmental and on-farm monitoring.

• Mode Labs: laboratory-grade water analysis made simple and deployable giving non-specialists continuous chemical insight.

• Robotriks: modular, autonomous, electric robots for picking, planting, weeding and harvesting.

• Rumbol: bolus technology for long-term nutrient delivery to ruminants.

Program

• 4:30 pm: Arrivals, with a welcome drink and something to eat

• 4:45 pm: Welcome to Orange, followed by introductions from Innovate UK and Farmers2Founders

• 5:05 pm: Pitches, round one (four ventures, then Q&A)

• 5:30 pm: Break and networking

• 5:50 pm: Pitches, round two (four ventures, then Q&A)

• 6:20–7:30 pm: Networking with the founders and guests

You can find the UK cohort at the Farmers2Founders site outside in Agtech Alley at Australian National Field Days on Thursday 22 and Friday 23 October. They'll be running pop-up pilot pitches and talking with producers and partners who are interested in trialling new technology on farm.
