What's it all about?
The Uke Queen Team from Making Music 4 Life will lead you in a joyous afternoon where you can sing and strum along to your favourite tunes, sip on a cold beverage if that's your thing, and enjoy an afternoon filled with laughter, good company, and musical joy! It's the most fun you can have with 4 strings!
What can I expect to learn?
You will learn new tricks and tips for your ukulele toolkit (including multipart arrangements) then jam the rest of the session away with great joy and abandon! We have created a SUPER DUPER SPECIAL SONGBOOK for the event filled with AWESOME songs, finger picking goodness and fun riffs for your playing pleasure! Ticket holders will receive the songbook a week before the event.
Is this for me?
Uke-A-Holics Anonymous Great Big Uke Jams are for strummers, pluckers, riffers, finger pickers, slappers, rappers, rockers and plonkers! The only caveat is that you must have completed a foundation level course (or you have received private ukulele lessons) before you attend an event as these events are not for absolute beginners!
What do I need to bring?
- Your ukulele, kazoo & ukulele capo
- Optional: Music stand (there are plenty of bar tables)
- Essential: Your energy and enthusiasm!
