Ulladulla Wastewater Treatment Plant Open Day

Shoalhaven Water is hosting a FREE 'Open Day' at the Ulladulla (King's Point) Wastewater Treatment Plant - Saturday, 29 March.
Join us on a guided tour providing insight and discovery to how your wastewater is collected, treated and delivered back to the environment. We will explore why wastewater treatment is essential for maintaining a healthy environment and discuss how Shoalhaven Water is adopting environmentally responsible practices to support a circular economy in the Shoalhaven.
Ulladulla treatment plant was first commissioned in 1975 and upgraded in 2005. Another upgrade in 2008 included the reticulated wastewater collection system for Lake Tabourie Village.
Reclaimed water is used on a local sporting fields and the treatment capacity will serve a population towards 32,000.
Gift vouchers, valued at $50 from local businesses, will be won on the day... one on each tour!
All tickets are FREE, and no limit on the number of family members... however, each tour is limited to thirty attendees. Looking forward to seeing you there.
