🏀 ULTIMATE SPORTS CAMPS (AGES 5+)

Due to popular demand, our Ultimate Sports School Holiday Camp is expanding to Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday each week!

Perfect for kids aged 5+, the camp is packed with a high-energy mix of sports and activities including basketball, soccer, AFL, netball, outdoor recreation, and carnival-style games such as egg & spoon races, sack races, tug of war, and obstacle courses.

Note: This is all dry-land fun — no aquatic activities involved.

Camp Dates:

Week 1: Tuesday 23 September, Wednesday 24 September, Thursday 25 September.
Week 2: Tuesday 30 July, Wednesday 1 October, Thursday 2 October.

Attendance Requirements

La Trobe Sport Ultimate Sports Camps are designed for children aged 5 to 12 years and involve full days of high-energy sports, games, and physical activities. These action-packed days require good stamina and energy, so please ensure your child enjoys being active, can sustain movement throughout the day, and stay engaged with the program. Children must also be able to independently use the toilet during camp hours.

PROGRAM SCHEDULE

🌳Special Collaboration with Nangak Tamboree Wildlife Sanctuary - September 30

We are thrilled to partner with Nangak Tamboree Wildlife Sanctuary (on campus) to give our Ultimate Sports Campers a unique opportunity to connect with nature through a fun and educational wildlife experience!

Following the morning schedule of sport/activities, children will walk from the Sports Park to the centre of campus for lunch on Simpson Lawn. Children will then continue their walk to the Wildlife Sanctuary for an exciting two-hour immersive nature experience that will include exploring native wildlife, habitats, sustainability, and the environment—discovering how everything is connected.

Please note: This session is held outdoors and will proceed in most weather conditions. We kindly ask that children come prepared with wet weather gear (e.g., gumboots, raincoats) if rain is forecast.

🎉Special Carnival Games Workshop September 24th & October 1st :

On selected camp days, children can join a fun, interactive carnival-style games workshop led by the expert team from the La Trobe Confucius Institute. In this one-hour session, they’ll try classic games like ring toss and knock-down challenges — all designed to spark joy, build coordination, and encourage teamwork.

As a highlight of our camps, this workshop provides a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment where fun comes first. It’s the perfect way for kids of all ages and abilities to stay active, engaged, and develop social and motor skills — all while having a blast!

🌊 Looking for something with a splash?

We’re also running our popular Aquatic & Multi-Sport Camp (Ages 7+), which combines water-based activities with a range of exciting land sports to keep kids active and engaged.

Mornings kick off with epic aquatic adventures — swing on the Tarzan rope, make a splash in water polo, race across magic carpets, take aim at our inflatable target wall, and enjoy free play in our heated pool. After lunch, the excitement continues with a rotating lineup of sports and activities including basketball, soccer, AFL, table tennis, netball, outdoor recreation, tabloid games, and the ultimate favourite — rock climbing!

It's a great option for those looking to dive into a bit of everything these school holidays!

MEDICAL CONDITIONS:

To ensure the safety and well-being of all participants, we require documentation for children with allergies, anaphylaxis, behavioral support needs, or those who require medication during the program (e.g., Ritalin, Ventolin). Please refer to our website for detailed instructions on how to submit this information.

GROUPS:

Children's groups are pre-allocated in advance and cannot be changed on the day of the program. Each child will be placed with their designated ‘buddy,’ chosen at the time of booking. Groups will consist of no more than 12 children.

If your child does not have a buddy attending the program, rest assured that they will be placed with other children of a similar age.

Please find below a sample daily schedule to give you an idea of what to expect. Please note, this is a guideline and the exact timing or activities may vary. Additionally, the sports and activities offered at the program rotate and may change without prior notice due to factors such as weather, staff, or facility availability.

REFUNDS, CREDITS & CANCELLATIONS:

To protect our staff and other participants, please do not bring your child to the program if they are unwell or showing cold/flu symptoms.

Refunds or credits will not be issued for change of mind requests.
If your child is unable to attend due to illness, a credit will be issued for a future program of equal or lesser value upon receipt of a medical certificate.
If La Trobe Sport cancels the event due to extenuating circumstances, a full refund will be provided (excluding the Humanitix booking fee).
