ＵＬＴＲＡＩＶ unfurls from its chrysalis an an A/V fever dream, headlined by Lady Gaga collaborator 𝐝𝐣 𝐟𝐮𝐜𝐤 (𝐀𝐊𝐀 𝐒𝐚𝐦 𝐑𝐨𝐥𝐟𝐞𝐬).⁠⁠

𝐝𝐣 𝐟𝐮𝐜𝐤 is the manic turntablist alter ego of virtual artist Sam Rolfes, whose chopped up hyper-speed AV internet-music mashups have torn up stages with Danny L Harle, Lil Mariko, Dorian Electra, AG Cook, PC Music showcases, and many more in the experimental club world. Their sets are fast, manic, and collide CDJ instrumentalism with a spray of breakcore, hardstyle, hyperp*p, and assorted meme music.⁠⁠

Sydney hardcore punk expat Heli Newton aka 𝐜𝐫𝐰𝐥𝐫 shreds genre tropes 𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞 at ＵＬＴＲＡ, irreverently thrashing through pop-plasticity, new wave melodrama, and black metal reverence. Freakazoid and Misc resident visual artist 𝐄𝐞𝐤 plays a DJ set of YouTube nerdcore music, diving into the archives of 𝑠𝑒𝑥𝑡𝑟𝑎𝑛𝑐𝑒 for an hour of power.⁠⁠

One of the city's most exciting new talents, 𝐋𝐚𝐜𝐞𝐬 takes us through the early hours of the dream, bridging the gap between the Lorenzo Senni show earlier in the night. Their recent 'Puer' EP on NLV Records is a masterclass in cheeky, glitchy kinetic electronica, oozing with personality and polish. Millennial DJ legend 𝐒𝐀𝐋 rounds out the sonic lineup, with visceral, sexy, jagged club sounds mixed w the knowledge and skills of a veteran baddie.⁠

𝐀𝐫𝐢 𝐀𝐧𝐠𝐤𝐚𝐬𝐚 returns on curatorial duties, with performances from the mysterious 𝐍𝐞𝐥𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐌. 𝐂𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐭𝐨𝐧 and famous evil clown 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐜𝐤 𝐎𝐰𝐞𝐧𝐬.
