Ultrasound Refresher

This full-day ultrasound workshop is designed to introduce physicians to Point-of-Care Ultrasound (POCUS) and enhance their skills in image acquisition and interpretation. Key applications covered include eFAST, lung ultrasound, abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA) assessment, ultrasound guided IV placement and foreign body localisation. The workshop emphasises hands-on scanning practice using live models, conducted in small group sessions with expert facilitator guidance to maximise learning.

This workshop is accredited by the RACGP and ACRRM, and it is also eligible for the Rural Procedural Grants Program.
