Umbarra (Black Duck) takes flight!
Event description
The exhibition is a collaboration between Boomalli Aboriginal Artists Co-operative and Umbarra Aboriginal Cultural Centre (Wallaga Lake, NSW).Â
The theme for the exhibition is 'inspire' and invites exhibiting artists to create a work around what inspires them as someone from community who cares for Country and our peoples.
From the sea to the mountains and waterways, the Yuin/Ngarigo peoples of the South Coast of NSW continue to care for Country through traditional and cultural practices, which have been passed down for many generations.
Opening night: Thursday 8th September from 6pm - 8pm.
This exhibition will continue until Saturday 5th November 2022.
