UMMSS MedCamp 2025

The 2025 UMMSS MedCamp committee welcomes all incoming MD1's to join us for a 2 night, 3 day student-run camp, where incoming medical students have the opportunity to form incredible connections and friendships prior to embarking on the journey of a lifetime - medical school! The University of Melbourne Medical Students Society (UMMSS) is one of the largest medical student societies in the Southern Hemisphere, and prides themselves on providing medical students at Unimelb countless opportunities to drive personal growth and achievement through social connection with peers. 

The 2025 UMMSS MedCamp will be held at Waratah Bay Beach Camp from Wednesday 22nd January - Friday 24th January. 

MedCamp is an annual tradition which is always a highlight for MD1's. Not only this, but MedCamp is run by a group of MD2 - MD4's, passionate about making your experience a memorable one. Older students are also great mentors and have excellent advice for surviving the upcoming year!! During MedCamp, you have the opportunity to participate in both indoor and outdoor team-building activities, challenges, wellness activities, themed dress-up nights, our MedCamp (boiler room) and more. Approximately 50% of the cohort in 2024 attended MedCamp, so it really is something that you don't want to miss!

Ticket inclusions:

Air-conditioned bus transport to and from Waratah Bay 

2 nights accommodation at Waratah Bay Beach Camp (bunk-bed style dormitory rooms)

Fully catered meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner whilst on-site)

2 days of planned activities, adventures and fun!
