Dance is not only the place where we come to express our joy, the parts of us that feel beautiful, and the parts that revel in connection.Dance is also a place where come to meet the parts of ourselves that want to hide & shrink back, the parts that feel tired of carrying the weight of all our responsibility on their shoulders.This dance event offers the unique opportunity to dance the 5Rhythms map with three separate teachers for offering their unique twist on how to unwind, to loosen up, to set ourselves free in the dance! No previous experience necessary, though this event is a useful introduction for the day long workshop on the Saturday where we explore and deepen on the theme.

In every moment, we have the option to brace, to tense up, to push against & resist. We have the option to soften to move WITH what is happening and, eventually move through.

Where are the places that you get stuck? Where do you hold on to tension in your body, where does your energy get bound up?

This workshop is an invitation into art of unraveling the protective layers which keep us from being joyfully ourselves.

So that we can meet the unknown within open heart so that we can surrender control without feeling out of control.

In our daylong workshop, we will explore a range of embodiment tools. This totally unique opportunity, you will be invited to move through the 5Rhythms map from the perspective of three different 5Rhythms teachers.

No previous experience necessary, no requirement other than having a body, a mind and a beating heart.
