Hang on to your hats, Christchurch...Unchatter is BACK! We had a brief hiatus on live events during lockdown (and the birth of our official Unchatter baby!), and we're so stoked to dive into the deep stuff with you again.

You'll get all the meaningful goodness and intentional fun you've come to expect, along with some new connective magic we've been brewing the last few months. Whether you're coming for the first time or the tenth, we've got a dynamite evening planned that will leave you feeling lit from within.

About This Event

This is not your average party! You'll be entering a space where small talk is banned and deep questions give you street cred. We bring the questions and the food, you bring the open mind and curious heart.

Don't worry, you won't have to jump into the deep end straight away. We'll lay out a few party principles for the evening and ease you into the conversation with some cool connection games.

Need a break from the buzz? There's a quiet zone when you want some down time, and we'll have ultra-compassionate Connectors keeping an eye out for anyone who needs a conversation buddy. You'll get exactly what you need every step of the way.

This is a thoughtfully curated experience for introverts and extroverts alike. If you're a human and want to feel like you matter, this is the place for you.

· What should I bring?

· Do I need to print my ticket?
Just bring the email verification you received with the QR code. (Not to worry, we can still check you in manually if you forget!)

· What if I'm an introvert who hates parties?
No sweat! We've tailored every part of the evening to make you feel like you belong, whether you love all-night ragers or quiet corners. We'll be keeping a special eye out for folks who might be feeling awkward. The whole point of this event is meaningful connection, and we'll make sure you get it!

· What if I'm an extrovert who's a pro at this connection stuff?
Fabulous! The real magic happens when we've got a beautiful blend of personalities and connection styles. If you're keen to be a Connector and help us create a sense of ease for those who are on the shy side, please reach out.

· Do I need to register or do you accept walk-ins on the day of the event?
Please register in advance, as we don't take walk-ins or sales at the door. We want you to have an experience that feels rich and meaningful, so we limit the number of attendees to make it an intimate gathering. This also allows us to reduce the time spent on check-in and jump right into the juicy stuff!

· What's the difference between waged, unwaged, and koha?
Waged tickets are for folks who are employed, and unwaged tickets are for students and those who aren't working full-time. You can also contribute a koha amount so we can provide tickets to people who wouldn't be able to attend otherwise. The experience is the same regardless of your ticket type; we just want it to be accessible for everyone.

· What if I can't afford a ticket?
Drop us a line and we'll make it happen.

· When should I arrive?
Doors open at 5:45. Please arrive in plenty of time to grab a beverage, get settled, and be ready to kick things off by 6:15. It's important to attend at the beginning when we set the stage for the evening.
