This is one of our special deep dive experiences and it’s designed for connection enthusiasts of any level. Whether you’ve been to fifty Unchatter events or none, you’ll fit right in.

Something we believe deeply at Unchatter is that meaningful connection shouldn’t be a one-off event; it’s a living, breathing practice to take to the kitchen table, the office, and even the supermarket check-out line. This is where we put the best of our connection goodness to work in real-life relationships! As with every event we host, you’ll be thoughtfully led, gently challenged, and playfully taught.

This event is highly experiential – in other words, not too much talk (just enough to clue you in on some fascinating research) and a whole lot of action. We want you to feel the difference this makes in the way you connect. Two real-life friends will guide you through evidence-based exercises disguised as a heck of a lot of fun. It looks like serious relationship work and feels like play!

You can expect to find some hidden nooks and crannies of your relationship, explore new terrain, see your friend (and yourself) in a new light, and most importantly, take away tools that will make you a connection extraordinaire with all the humans in your life.

Photography: this event we're planning on having a lovely friend along to discretely snap photos of the good times. You absolutely don't need to be in the photos or we're happy not to use the photos you're in if you are. We'll check in on the night with consent. The photos are used online for events and memories

The Need-to-Know

Who can I bring?
- Absolutely anyone you want to practice connection with. It may be a lifelong friend or a new one, your adoring mum or your prickly partner, a work mate or a hot date. Our only request is that you’re both 18 or above. This is more about the practice of connection than the person you choose to bring. (And don’t worry, you won’t be glued together all evening – we’ll mix it up here and there so you can make some new friends too!)
How many tickets do I need to purchase?
- This is a 2-for-1! One ticket gets you AND your pal in the door. There are two tiers of pricing so you can choose the one that feels more comfortable for you. The experience is the same regardless of the ticket you purchase; we just want meaningful connection to be accessible to everyone.
What if this is a new friendship?
- Sweet as! Whether you’ve known each other for donkey’s years or a week, this is the space for you. Either way, you’ll learn heaps, pick up some new tips, and have loads of fun along the way.
What if my friendship/relationship is a total disaster? Will this help?
- No sweat. If you’re both keen to come with open hearts and minds, then we’re keen to have you here. This is NOT the space for airing dirty laundry, intensive problem-solving, or challenges that are better suited for therapy. It IS the space for seeing your friend (and yourself) through a more meaningful, compassionate lens and learning some rad connection skills that will shift the way you interact with each other in everyday life.
Do I need to print my ticket?
- Just bring the email verification you received with the QR code. (Not to worry, we can still check you in manually if you forget!)
Do you accept walk-ins the day of the event?
- Please register in advance, as we don't take walk-ins or sales at the door. We want you to have an experience that feels rich and meaningful, so we limit the number of attendees to make it an intimate gathering. This also allows us to reduce the time spent on check-in and jump right into the juicy stuff!
What time should I arrive?
- Doors open at 5:45. Please arrive in plenty of time to grab a beverage, get settled, and be ready to kick things off by 6:15. It's important to attend at the beginning when we set the stage for the evening.
