Unconscious Bias training - Research Office (Postponed)
Event description
COVID-19 Update
I hope you are doing well and staying safe. With regret, I wish to inform you that we have canceled the 'Unconscious Bias Training' session. With the increased number of covid cases emerging, the team have agreed that it would not be appropriate to move ahead with the face-to-face Unconscious Bias Training session. However, Arif has expressed that he is willing and able to deliver this session for us when it becomes a viable option again in the future.
You will have the first priority to attend for when this opportunity becomes available again.
Stay safe and with best wishes,
Daren

Most of our thinking occurs unconsciously. Most of our decisions are made unconsciously. Often this unconscious nature of thought processes means that our thinking, decisions, and behaviours do not always align with our values. This introduction to unconscious bias will help you understand the neuroscience of unconscious thinking, the development, and impact of bias on behaviour, and give you skills to recognise and manage your unconscious biases.
This session will be delivered as a face-to-face session in RES Hub Physical event space.
