Dan and Brannon's Story
Dan and Brannon will share the journey from building their creative partnership to producing work for some of Australia's most recognisable automotive brands. They'll discuss finding their visual style, breaking into the commercial world, working with premium clients like Porsche, and the lessons they've learned creating campaigns that stand out.

Breaking Down a Porsche Campaign
Using real commercial work as case studies, Dan and Brannon will unpack exactly how their productions come together. From creative concepts and storyboards through to camera movement, vehicle logistics, lighting, lens selection and post production, you'll see how an idea evolves into a finished campaign. They'll also share behind-the-scenes footage captured throughout the production process, giving you a look at everything that happens beyond the final edit.

Rigging Cameras for Automotive Filmmaking
This practical session dives into the equipment and techniques used to safely capture dynamic automotive imagery. Dan and Brannon will demonstrate the camera rigs, mounting systems and support gear they rely on, discussing why each setup is chosen and the creative possibilities each one unlocks. Whether you're shooting with an FX3, a hybrid camera or looking to expand into automotive work, you'll leave with practical knowledge you can apply immediately.

Live Vehicle Rigging Demonstration
To finish the evening, we'll head outside for a live demonstration using a parked Porsche. Watch as Dan and Brannon build a professional camera rig on the vehicle, explaining mounting points, safety considerations, lens choices and how they prepare a car before a single frame is captured. Bring your questions, get up close with the equipment, and see firsthand how high-end automotive productions begin.
