We loved seeing the joy of cocktails poured from teapots at Floriade this year, and now we want to show you how to bring that same fun to your own spring and summer gatherings. Dust off your teapot collection, borrow one from a friend who has too many, or find a treasure at your local op shop — it’s time to embrace this charming cocktail vessel and bring a little classic classiness to your next get-together.

Join Underground Spirits for a 1.5-hour hands-on workshop where we’ll show you how to make two of our most-loved cocktails — The Watermelon Slide, an absolute fan favourite, and The Garden, a taste of springtime in a teapot made with wine from our fabulous friends at Contentious Character.

This is your chance to spend an afternoon with us, shake up some elegance, and explore the craft and creativity behind every pour. We’ll share our thoughts on balancing flavour, how wine adds depth and character to cocktails, and the art of shaking, pouring, and hosting with flair. Expect stories, tips, and a few secrets along the way — all showing how Underground Spirits truly shines in every sip.

Your Ticket Includes

• A 1.5-hour guided cocktail session at the Canberra and Region Visitors Centre, overlooking beautiful Lake Burley Griffin
  

• Step-by-step instruction on how to make two signature share-style cocktails in teapots — The Watermelon Slide and The Garden
  

• The chance to mix, pour, and serve the cocktails yourself (two half-pots of cocktails across the session)
  

• Two mini bottles (2 x 50ml) of your favourite Underground Spirits to take home, along with printed recipes for both cocktails
  

• A few high tea treats to nibble on while you sip and stir
