Want to create meaningful change and looking for practical solutions?

Many of us can see that the current system isn't delivering the outcomes we need. We see rising inequality, housing affordability challenges, climate pressures, declining community resilience, economic insecurity, and growing wealth concentration.

But what practical solutions exist?

What can communities, organisations, governments, businesses, investors and funders actually do?

How do we move from good intentions to real change?

This session introduces Community Capital — a practical approach to understand the systems that shape these outcomes and create change in your community, organisation, or sector.

It provides a tangible way to create more equitable and regenerative organisations, structures and systems.

It makes visible the many strategies and solutions for building stronger more resilient communities and economies.

What this means for you

Community leaders and practitioners - Build your capacity to generate, access, own and govern the assets, services and infrastructure that support local priorities and long-term community wellbeing.

Local councils and regional development organisations - Build the community and economic conditions needed for communities to shape, build, own and fund what matters locally.

Government, service and supporting organisations - Design policies, programs, services and systems that lock in wellbeing, resilience and prosperity.

Businesses, investors and philanthropists - Understand how capital can be used to create both community benefit and long-term economic value, while supporting stronger and more resilient places.
