Climate Action: Understanding and Calculating Agricultural Emissions Workshop
Event description
There are still many unanswered questions around how landowners will be asked to report on agricultural emissions. One thing we can be sure of is that the sooner we understand GHG emissions on-farm – what they are, where they are coming from, and how much we are emitting – the better positioned we will be to mitigate these emissions if required.
This workshop is designed for landowners with greater than 20 hectares of land and will set you up with the knowledge and tools to be able to calculate your on-farm emissions.
WHO IS THIS FOR: rural and peri-urban landowners and managers.
KEY TAKEAWAYS: understanding and conducting agricultural GHG footprint and reductions plan for your property.
This is a great introduction to the Forestry for Carbon Sequestration: The ETS and Mitigation for Agricultural Emissions Workshop
FACILITATOR:
- Dr. Carly Green - IPCC Lead Author, PhD in International Climate Change Policy
