    Event description

This is a free event designed for staff working in non-lived and living experience designated roles (e.g. clinical staff) from Victorian public mental health services, the community mental health sector and the Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) sector.

This training aligns to Capability 10 (Delivering compassionate care, support and treatment) of the Victorian Mental Health & Wellbeing Workforce Capability Framework.

Lived and Living Experience Workforces (LLEWs) are essential in Victoria’s mental health reform. Lived and Living Experience disciplines are often misunderstood, and power dynamics and workplace processes can impede LLEW ways of working. This training will increase understanding of Lived and Living Experience Workforces, and explore how learners can support LLEWs at their service. The package has been co-designed and will be co-delivered with a consumer educator, family/carer educator, and clinical educator.

This training will be delivered in-person at The Melbourne Business School, 200 Leicester Street, Carlton.

    Presenter:

This training is delivered by CMHL staff.
