This session will present findings from a research project identifying Victorian sport sector workforce and recruitment trends since 2016, using LinkedIn data.
Recommendations for ensuring high-quality and equitable recruitment practices as well as strategies to identify gaps and ensure retention of staff will be provided in an interactive and engaging online webinar.

Emma specialises in the area of sport for development and her research interests include community development through sport activities, undertaking a broad range of research projects with national and regional sport organisations in Australia and globally. Other recent research has included access and equity in sport participation, social impact of sport, sport's contribution to the sustainable development agenda, and sport and recreation for at-risk and marginalised communities.

Carleigh specialises in research focused on customer behaviour, engagement and community wellbeing in sport and leisure contexts, with particular emphasis on data analytics and innovation. She has engaged in a range of research and consulting activities across sport and leisure organisations including facility management, local councils, governing bodies and professional sport teams in Australia.
