About This Webinar

Australia is in the midst of a significant legislative shift in how sexual harassment is understood, prevented and enforced. From the #MeToo movement through to the Respect at Work Act, reforms to the Workplace Gender Equality Act (WGEA), and the broader lens of gender-based violence, the legal and regulatory landscape has changed substantially, and continues to evolve.

This webinar takes a broad but grounded look at the legislative wave reshaping workplace sexual harassment prevention in Australia. Franca will trace the journey from Respect at Work through to current WGEA requirements, introduce gender-based violence as a broader framework, and bring in relevant case law to ground the discussion in real-world implications.

This is a session for anyone who wants to understand what the law requires now and what it means for employers, HR professionals and leaders.
