    Event description

This workshop is exactly what you need if you are looking for ways to understand trauma, stress, suicide, overwhelm or burnout through a neuroscientific lens.

It maybe you, it maybe a loved one, it maybe just general curiosity or even prevention that is driving you to understand these highly sensitive and hard topics. Whatever your drive is, you will learn everything you need to to help yourself or a loved one understand what is happening, why it's happening, how to effectively and safely work through it, how to support it and how to prevent it.

This workshop addresses and dissects these sensitive topics through a neuroscientific lens and offers neuroscience based education and therapeutic strategies. You will get to understand the science behind why the brain causes us to think and feel the way we do and take away effective tools to resolve, support and prevent these conditions.

    You will learn:

    • Why the brain causes you to think and feel the way you do
    • How the brain responds to trauma, stress, burnout and overwhelm
    • How to manage and/or support acute trauma, stress, overwhelm, emotional crises and suicidal thoughts
    • How to manage and/or support chronic trauma, stress and burnout
    • How to implement neuroscience based strategies to prevent, manage and support anyone that experiences these hardships

This is a great workshop for professionals that are exposed to situations/people and high stress roles that increase the risk of developing these ailments, eg front-liners, medical professionals, military (past and present), teachers/education, veterinary field, government etc.
The information learned in this workshop can also assist you in your personal and workplace relationships, performance and roles to better understand your partners, peers, colleagues, patients and customers.

Our goal is to help you learn how to enrich and enhance the quality of your life and achieve cognitive and emotional wellbeing, control and resilience.
