Join WoTL for an introductory workshop on understanding your soil, presented by Mel Fraser of Soil Function Consulting. The day will cover:


• What soil have I got and where did it come from?
• What makes a healthy soil?
• Methods to assess soil physical, chemical and biological health
• Soil test results: what do all the numbers mean?
• Practical session on testing for pH and soil texture.

This will be an interactive day, including a paddock walk. Please wear enclosed shoes and bring a hat and water.

Please bring a soil sample with you and any soil test results to look at during the session.

The day includes morning tea, lunch and a soil pH testing kit to take home.

The full cost of this event is $400 which has been heavily reduced thanks to support of event sponsors.
