    Event description

Do you have a business idea that you would love to bring to life? Join us at the Young Entrepreneurs Hub in April where we will be working to help you build and launch your own business.

Over two action-packed days, we will be working with high school students to build their own businesses as part of the Young Entrepreneurs Hub. With the program hosted at the WeWork Co-Working Space in Brisbane City, and facilitated by the BOP team of expert facilitators, this is a great opportunity for young people looking to bring their business ideas to life.

For our program on the 13th & 14th of April, we will have a specific focus on helping students build their foundation of understanding before getting ready to launch their business. Over the course of the two days, we focus on mapping the customer journey, teaching students to identify the key opportunities for their business. We work towards finding customers through competitor analysis, market research and the exploration of sponsorship and partnership opportunities.

On the second day of programming, the 14th of April, we will have the privilege of welcoming Strategic Partnerships Managers from various organisations to deliver a Masterclasses. This is a unique opportunity for aspiring entrepreneurs to learn directly from a leading industry experts and gain valuable insights into leveraging various platforms for business success. This masterclass promises to be an engaging and informative session that will leave attendees with a wealth of knowledge and inspiration for their own ventures. Don't miss this chance to network, learn and grow with like-minded individuals and take your entrepreneurial journey to the next level.

    Competitor Analysis
Developing a solid understanding of your competitors is a great thing to do before launching your business. In our competitor analysis masterclass we will be working with students to identify some key companies working in a similar space to them, and seeing what we can learn from them, and how we can set ourselves apart.

    Sponsorship and Partnership Opportunities
A great way to start building your brand is by collaborating with other brands. To do this, we will be identifying key brands that have shared interests and values that we might be able to partner with, or find sponsorship from as we get started.

    Market Research
It is always a good idea to chat to your customers before you spend too much time building your brand and your product. In this session, we will be working with students to identify effective ways to gather this market research, before then looking at how we can pull valuable insights from the data collected. As an attendee of a 2023 Young Entrepreneurs Hub program, students will also be invited to join other young entrepreneurs at showcase events throughout the year to help gather market research on their product or service.

Our Young Entrepreneurs Hub Program has been designed for high school students looking to bring their business ideas to life. Over the course of the two days students will be connecting with other like-minded young people, hearing from mentors in the field, and working with the BOP team as we guide them along their business journey.

Each day, students will start with a quick check-in with the BOP team before diving into a masterclass on the focus topic for the day. From there they will be free to work on their business as they apply their newfound knowledge and skills.
