UNDISCLOSED 43.0 w/ Air Max '97 and DJ Plead

On Saturday the 22nd of July, UNDISCLOSED presents two artists at the forefront of oblique electronic music, Air Max ‘97 and DJ Plead.

Dutch born, Aotearoa raised and now residing on Gadigal land, Air Max ‘97 is a singular artist in the electronic music ecosystem. His restless dancefloor focused productions explore the nexus of rhythm and sound design, unbothered by tempo or genre constraints. His recent output includes a string of releases on his own label DECISIONS, an appearance on fabric Originals’ compilation “SELECTS I”, acclaimed 12”s on Batu's Timedance label, as well as collaborative EPs as Loppy B with SCAM and A2A with Aya. Passionate about whipping up frothy dancefloors, Air Max ‘97 is a magnetic presence as a DJ. His sets work out body and mind, serving high energy, bass rich club gear with a generous dose of playful left turns.

DJ Plead is a Melbourne/Naarm producer, based in Berlin and making percussive club music. Drawing on his Lebanese background, DJ Plead makes tough, functional, and percussive tracks. His unique style references the rhythms, scales and timbres of Lebanese pop and traditional Lebanese wedding music, blending them with contemporary RnB, Club and other dance styles. DJ Plead released his debut EP ‘Get in Circle’ through Air Max 97’s DECISIONS label in March 2018 and has since toured Europe and China. He is also half of drum-workout duo Poison, a member of high-energy trio BV, and founder of the SUMAC label. With his music consistently played by the likes of Four Tet, Madam X, Anthony Naples, Joy O, Batu and many more, we can’t wait to welcome him alongside Air Max ‘97 to The Abercrombie on Saturday 22 July.
